As mentioned previously, an Embellish-A-Long (EAL) was being run on Ravelry. An EAL (or KAL) is the opportunity for people to tackle the same thing and share their progress/results, while getting support from others doing the same thing. Its a great motivator if you are like me and don't want to be the only one who ends the month and hasn't completed the specified item!
In January, Watemellish's Tanja created a special chart called 'Sweet Delight', specifically for the participants of the EAL. I imagine she will release it to the general public at the conclusion of the month, however at this stage the only way you could access it is by joining the group and letting her know you are playing.
She has suggested that 'Sweet Delight' is designed for girls, but I think it is gender neutral enough to be used for boys too.......so I have!
I had a little Vanilla soaker (my own pattern), which I cast on over New Years as I am currently revising the sizing on this dasterdly pattern. Vanilla was the very first multi format pattern I released, and in 3 different yarn weights and 5 sizes, it proved to be a huge job, and my inexperience designing shines through....unfortunately the pattern itself is very wordy, and the sizing is a bit 'off' (ie it runs quite large)....and I feel I am finally comfortable enough to revise the pattern and get it 'perfect'.
On the back of the plain little Vanilla is one of the cute 'angled strawberry' charts...with a little friend trying to eat it (not a Watermellish design...I improvised this).
Kinda cute I thought!
Tanja also released 2 more 'exclusive' designs over the course of the month - A boyish bi-plane, and a girly schmetterling (German Butterfly).
Keep your eyes peeled on her website, http://www.watermellish.com.au/ for new designs!

I guess you and I are similar there. I think that anything which isn't a fairy or princess is GN. It's cool that you've used it on a boy or GN garment. Yay! Love it!
